Over the course of the 4 week study, we simply ask that you use Locaccino and provide us regular feedback on any requests your friends make to your location.
At least 4 days a week for the duration of the study, we’ll ask you to login to Locaccino from your computer and click on the “Who Saw Me?“ tab. From here you’ll see a complete history of all the requests your friends made to your location, and the outcomes of these requests.
For each request, you’ll see who requested you, what time it was they requested you, and where you were at the time. You’ll also see whether Locaccino disclosed your location, whether their request was denied, or whether you were offline at the time.

For each request, please indicate whether you were unsatisfied with the outcome (
), for instance when you wish Locaccino did not share your location with your friend, whether you were satisfied with the outcome (
), or whether the location was inaccurate (
). Please answer any short follow up questions about your selection if we happen to ask any.
To be compensated at the end of the study you must have provided feedback for at least 4 days per week on average. Some weeks you can go under this if you make it up the next week.
Please keep your Android locator running as much as you possibly can. If you don’t want to share your location, set your location sharing settings to match your preference instead of closing the app. Try to aim for keeping the app running for at least 60% of the day.
